Calendar Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation Established by Congress in 2001, the Ambassador's Fund for Cultural Preservation aims to assist countries such as Honduras in preserving museum collections, ancient and historic sites and traditional forms of expression. Since its inception, the program has awarded 292 grants in 106 countries. To date, Honduras has been the recipient of six grants covering a broad range of vital cultural preservation projects throughout the country:
American Corners In partnership with Honduran host institutions, American Corners in Tegucigalpa and Puerto Lempira provide access to current and reliable information about the U.S. Resources found at the American Corners help individuals expand their skills and understand American values. Speakers Bureau The Cultural Affairs Office matches individuals with wide-ranging expertise to Honduran contacts and groups who would like to hear about U.S. government, culture, and society.
